My love of photography began as a teenager, but became more apparent shortly after having my two beautiful kids (who are now grown).  Through earning my photography certificate in college and ongoing attendance in seminars and workshops for the past 16 years, I continue to develop a much deeper love for the art.  

I knew without a doubt that I wanted to combine my photography with another love of mine which is automobiles.  I was born into a racing family and it was a family way of life growing up.  My father and 3 uncles all raced the Pikes Peak Hillclimb and local race tracks.  I myself raced quarter midgets from age 4-16 years, so obviously cars have always been a big part of my background.

 Although I gladly do several portraiture sessions, I love automotive sessions.  I love the freedom to be artistic and to capture some amazing builds inspired by many talented and great hot rod and custom builders and owners.  I always strive to show the builder’s dedication and the unique details that set it apart from each automobile I am privileged to shoot.  Although I take a fairly simple approach to photographing automobiles, I also offer a more specialty in-depth session consisting of night sessions with light.  That is where the car is really set apart from any other!      

My hope through my work is that it allow others to appreciate the art form from hot rodding and custom car building, as I do!
